Also referred to as purple slate chippings, our plum slate is an excellent option for a variety of garden applications, including pathways, borders, flower beds, rockeries, ornamental water features, fishponds, and pot toppers. Moreover, our plum slate chippings are fish-friendly!

Graded at 40mm, these chippings are particularly well-suited for high-traffic footpaths as their shape and size allow them to interlock effectively, creating a comfortable walking surface. Additionally, their larger size ensures they have a longer lifespan compared to smaller slate chippings. Once laid, the smaller pieces will form a mulch bed, with the larger and more decorative pieces prominently displayed.
